Sanjeet “Sonny” Veen was born and grew up with the teachings of Buddhism, in India, where it originated. At an early age, he was instructed and taught the lessons of Buddhism. He learned that there are four noble truths. These noble truths are 1.) the truth of suffering, 2.) the truth of the cause of suffering 3.) the truth of the end of suffering and 4.) the truth of the path that leads to the end of suffering. As an advocate of Buddhism and a world traveler, Sanjeet “Sonny” Veen is well qualified to teach and conduct seminars on the lessons and aspirations of Buddhism. Sanjeet “Sonny” Veen firmly believes that even other religions, such as Christianity, Judaism, and others could be supplemented from the lessons of Buddhism. Karma, an important aspect of Buddhism refers to the good or bad actions a person takes during his or her lifetime. Karma reinforces the teachings in Christianity of doing good to one another will result in blessings and happiness for the person doing good. Basically, it is the same in karma. If a person helps another person the person giving the help will get help in the future in the time she or he will be needing help. If a person did bad actions, then he or she will reap multiple bad events in the future. Sanjeet “Sonny” Veen would like to go to different cities to provide lectures, seminars, and teachings, as a resource person for Buddhism. Because of his early upbringing in the teachings of Buddhism, Sonny is well learned and quite capable to teach and guide people who want to know Buddhism and learn how to incorporate it into their daily lives and in their relationships with their families, friends, and co-workers. Sanjeet “Sonny” Veen’s vision is to help people throughout the world find enlightenment and happiness with their life. He believes that in order to be an effective teacher, he needs to live and breathe under the guidance of the lessons of Buddhism.
